Hamilton Island Race Week 2008, sponsored by Audi was a great success for the Maxi Condor. 2009 was even better! Placing a 3rd and 1st in her division. The third largest vessel in the fleet of 195, Condor turned heads on every day of racing. Eleven charter guests from Australia, New Zealand and England formed the crew and all have confirmed their attendance for 2010. Our guests ranged in experience from recreational sailors to experienced offshore racers who all formed a great team within a vey short space of time. The Prosail crew helped the team to learn the boats intricacies and by day 3, the team were largely running the boat on their own. All guests acted as skipper at some stage and all took turns trimming the sails. Of an evening guests and crews enjoyed the entertainment of Race Week Festivities, including live music, street parties and generally a good time was had by all.
